Sounds of the Galactic League – Kestar Bool

In the next installment of the Sounds of the Galactic League series, it’s time to meet Kris Laudrum, the voice behind ruthless league champion Kestar Bool.

Kestar Bool is Shade’s main rival both on and off the track. This callous Caskadag is the reigning champion of the Galactic League, but even that lofty title isn’t enough to satisfy this spoiled sportsman. He believes he should be in control of the League itself and will stop at nothing in his ruthless quest for power. As the antagonist in Star Wars: Galactic Racer™, his voice needed to immediately communicate the smug sense of entitlement and superiority that would ensure players would want to take him down at all costs!

“How do you make an antagonist that everyone immediately sets their sights on defeating?” says Fuse Games’ Music & Narrative Director Nathaniel Daw. “We knew from the first ‘Impeding!’ that Kestar Bool needed to be instantly established as the entitled Caskadag that he is. Voice actor Kris Laudrum delivered an incredible performance dripping with arrogance and establishes the stakes so well for the conflict between him and Shade. Kris made Kestar show all his entitlement and privilege, but behind it we hear someone who is terrified that they’ll not live up to their father’s expectation – a deadly blend of rage, superiority, and desperation.”

Kris Laudrum is an English voice and performance capture actor who has lent his talent to multiple major video games throughout the years.
