Player Code of Conduct

No Witch Hunting, Harassment, or Bigotry

Absolutely no harassment, bullying, witch hunting, sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, bigotry, or hate speech towards other players will be tolerated. Any players that we consider to be engaging in this type of behaviour will be permanently banned from our community spaces.

No NSFW or Obscene Content

Do not share NSFW or obscene content with other players privately or in our community spaces. This includes text, images, or links featuring nudity, sex, illegal substances, images or footage from games rated M or above, non-game related hard violence, or other graphically disturbing content.

Any players found sharing this type of content will be permanently banned from our community spaces.

Do Not Misuse Copyrighted Content

Do not use any of the copyrighted content in Star Wars: Galactic Racer™ or any other Star Wars™ game, film, TV show, or other property to produce obscene or offensive content. Examples of this include pornographic art of characters from the game, images from the game with racist captions, or any content that breach our rules regarding No Witch Hunting, Harassment, or Bigotry and No NSFW or Obscene Content.

Any players found sharing this type of content will be permanently banned from our community spaces and may be subject to legal action for misusing copyrighted content.

Treat Everyone with Respect

Do not bully, harass, or treat other players with disrespect privately, in game, or in our community spaces. Be kind and use common sense in all of your interactions with other players.

We take reports of bullying and harassment very seriously, so players found to be bullying or harassing other players will be banned from our community spaces and may be banned from online multiplayer depending on the severity of the report.

No Spamming or Excessive Self-Promotion

Do not spam or excessively self-promote with other players privately or in our community spaces.

Any players found spamming or excessively self-promoting any type of content in this way will be permanently banned from our community spaces.

No Griefing in Online Multiplayer

Do not purposefully sabotage, harass, or annoy other players in online multiplayer. Any player found engaging in this behaviour will be permanently banned from online multiplayer and may be banned from our community spaces depending on the severity of the report.

If you want to report another player for griefing, please see the guide below on how to report players.

No Sharing of Hacked or Data Mined Content

Hacking or data mining Star Wars: Galactic Racer™ is explicitly against our Terms of Service, as is sharing any content that has been obtained via hacking or data mining.

Anyone found to be sharing hacked or data mined content will be permanently banned from online multiplayer and from our community spaces. Since this type of activity is also against the Terms of Service of Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation, and Xbox, we will escalate the matter to the relevant platform and this may result in the user being permanently banned from that platform.

No Cheating

The use of any cheating software with Star Wars: Galactic Racer™ is explicitly against our Terms of Service, as is sharing any software with other players that would allow them to cheat.

Any player found using and/or sharing this type of software will be permanently banned from online multiplayer. Since this would also be a violation of the anti-cheat clauses in Steam, Epic Games, PlayStation, and Xbox’s Terms of Service, we will escalate the matter to the relevant platform and this may result in the user being permanently banned from that platform.

If you want to report another player for cheating, please see the guide below on how to report players.

How to Report Another Player for Griefing, Cheating, or Other In-Game Offences

In order to report another player for griefing, cheating, or other in-game offences, you will need to provide the player’s gamer tag, video evidence of the offence(s), and a detailed text report of what has happened.

For more information on how to capture the necessary video evidence from in-game, please reference the following guides from each platform:

Please ensure that your video is in high resolution, is no longer than 5 to 10-minutes in length, and does not exceed 50MB in size if you are uploading it. You can either upload the video as a file directly to Zendesk if it meets the size requirements or you can provide a link to the video from a cloud-sharing platform for larger files (Google Drive, One Drive, YouTube Unlisted Video etc.). If you are sharing a link to a cloud-sharing platform, please ensure that the privacy settings are set so that anyone with the link can gain access to the video. If our customer support team cannot access the video, this will delay the progress of your report.

You must not upload or share any content that violates our code of conduct as part of your report. This includes NSFW content, content containing illegal substances, content of illegal activities, and anything else specified in our guidelines. Any user who uploads content of this kind will be immediately banned from our customer support platform and our community spaces. In the case of severe breaches where content depicting illegal activity is shared, we will contact the relevant authorities and share all relevant information with them.

All reports must be made via Zendesk. We will not accept reports submitted via Steam Forum, Discord, or any other community space.

Our customer support team will come back to you to acknowledge your report has been received as soon as possible. Please do not send duplicate reports, provide videos beyond the length or specifications outlined, encourage other players to report the same player, and/or report a player that someone else has asked you to report as this will slow down the investigation process.
