Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST.
VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. CONTEST IS NOT OPEN TO RESIDENTS OF COUNTRIES WHERE GOODS ARE EMBARGOED BY THE UNITED STATES, UNITED KINGDOM OR EUROPE.
ENTRY IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES ENTRANT ACCEPTANCE OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES.
This contest (the “Contest”) is a:
- Contest of skill. The Contest is a game of skill. The winners are decided by the lap times that Entrants set when playing the game, and no element of chance is involved. The Contest is run in person at the PROMOTER’s stand at Gamescom 2026, Koelnmesse, Cologne, Germany (Hall 06.1 Stand B040) (the “Contest Stand”), and is divided into twenty (20) separate competition events (each an “Event”), as set out in section 4. Entrants play the time trial build of STAR WARS: Galactic Racer made available at the Contest Stand on one of the PROMOTER’s supervised play stations and take part in one (1) of the six (6) races making up an Event, completing a full timed lap of the track allocated to that Event (as set out in section 4). To take part in the Contest, a name and a valid email address are given so that the lap time can be recorded on the leaderboard for that Event. Entry to the Contest is open only to persons aged 18 or over. At the end of each Event, the Entrant who has set the fastest valid lap time in that Event wins the prize for that Event. Skill in playing the game, and not luck, determines who wins. Players who prefer not to give their details are welcome to play the game without entering the Contest. See below for the complete details.
- This Contest is conducted by the PROMOTER. The PROMOTER shall be considered the legal “sponsor” of all prizes and the PROMOTER shall administer the prizes in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions set out as part of these official rules (“Rules”). Additionally, the PROMOTER shall be solely and entirely responsible for ensuring that the prizes comply with the Rules and all applicable laws in each jurisdiction where the prizes are awarded.
- This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media platform, including but not limited to Meta, Discord, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, or X. Users remain bound by the relevant terms and conditions of any such social media platforms. Please refer to the relevant platform’s terms and conditions page(s) for more information about how they regulate or use data and/or information on behalf of their subscribed users.
- This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any other organiser, co-organiser or exhibitor of Gamescom 2026. Entrants remain bound at all times by the Gamescom terms of admission and the house rules of the exhibition grounds, and the PROMOTER may refuse or disqualify an entry where an Entrant fails to comply with them or with the reasonable instructions of the PROMOTER’s stand team.
1. BINDING AGREEMENT
To enter the Contest, you must agree to these Rules. Therefore, please read these Rules prior to entry to ensure you understand and agree. By submitting an entry in the Contest, Entrants agree to these Rules. Entrants may not submit an entry to the Contest and are not eligible to receive any prize described in these Rules unless they agree to these Rules. These Rules form a binding legal agreement between Entrants and the PROMOTER with respect to the Contest.
2. ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible to enter the Contest, you (“Entrant”) must: (1) be at least the age of 18 years old at the time of entry; (2) not be a resident of any country where the United States, United Kingdom or Europe have embargoed goods; (3) not be a person or entity under any national export controls or sanctions; (4) hold a valid Gamescom 2026 admission ticket or exhibitor pass and attend the Contest Stand in person during the Contest Period; (5) provide a name and a valid email address that you control and can access; and (6) where applicable, be eligible to claim any prize you may win. Entrants agree that if they are a winner, they will provide any additional necessary information or consents necessary to confirm eligibility as a winner. Failure to provide additional information or consents will be grounds for disqualification, unless prohibited under applicable law. Contest is void to employees, interns, contractors, and official office-holders of the PROMOTER, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, advertising and promotion agencies, representatives, and agents (“Contest Entities”), and members of the Contest Entities and their immediate families (parents, siblings, children, spouses, and life partners of each, regardless of where they live) and members of the households (whether related or not) of such employees, interns, contractors, officers, and directors are ineligible to participate in this Contest. Disney/Lucasfilm employees are also excluded from entering the sweepstakes or contest. The PROMOTER reserves the right to verify eligibility and to adjudicate on any dispute at any time.
3. THE PROMOTER
The Contest is promoted by Secret Mode Limited (“the PROMOTER”), whose registered office is at Ground and 2nd Floor, Imperial House, Holly Walk, Leamington Spa, CV32 4JG.
4. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins at 10:00 CEST (09:00 BST) in Cologne, Germany on Wednesday 26 August 2026 and ends when the final Event on Sunday 30 August 2026 has finished, that Event starting at 17:00 CEST (16:00 BST) in Cologne, Germany (“Contest Period”), being the five (5) days of Gamescom 2026. ENTRANTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR DETERMINING THE CORRESPONDING TIME ZONE IN THEIR RESPECTIVE JURISDICTIONS.
The Contest Period is divided into twenty (20) separate Events, being four (4) Events on each day of the five (5) days of the Contest Period. Each Event consists of six (6) separate races and each Event has one (1) winner, resulting in four (4) winners per day and twenty (20) winners in total. An Event starts at each of the following times on each day and takes place on the track shown for that time: 11:00 CEST (“Giant’s Graveyard”); 13:00 CEST (“Caustic Fields”); 15:00 CEST (“Monastery Mountains”); and 17:00 CEST (“Mos Espa Racetrack”). Each Event consists of six (6) races on the track allocated to that Event and ends when the sixth (6th) race in that Event has finished; no fixed end time applies to an Event. Each Event is a separate competition with its own leaderboard and its own single winner. A lap time set in one Event does not carry over to any other Event, and each leaderboard is reset at the start of each Event.
Entries may only be made in person at the Contest Stand, and only during an Event. The PROMOTER may close the entry queue for an Event once all places in the six (6) races making up that Event have been allocated, or in advance of the end of that Event where it is necessary to do so in order that Entrants already queuing can complete their attempt before the Event closes. Any lap time set outside an Event is void and not eligible for a prize. The PROMOTER may vary the timing or duration of an Event, the track allocated to an Event, or the number of Events on a given day, where it is reasonably necessary to do so (including because of technical problems at the Contest Stand or a change to the published opening hours of Gamescom 2026), and will display the timings in force at the Contest Stand.
5. HOW TO ENTER
During the Contest Period, Entrants may enter the Contest only by the following method, and must complete each of the steps set out below:
Entry in person at the Contest Stand: Gamescom 2026, Koelnmesse, Cologne, Germany (Hall 06.1 Stand B040). There is no online, postal or social media route of entry to this Contest, and no entry submitted by any other means will be valid.
- Play the time trial build of STAR WARS: Galactic Racer made available at the Contest Stand, on one of the PROMOTER’s supervised play stations, and take part in one (1) of the six (6) races making up an Event and complete one (1) full timed lap of the track allocated to that Event (as set out in section 4); and
- give to the PROMOTER’s stand team, or enter at the terminal at the Contest Stand, (i) the Entrant’s name and (ii) a valid email address, so that the lap time can be recorded against the Entrant on the leaderboard for that Event.
Giving a name and email address is voluntary and is not a condition of playing the game. Visitors are welcome to play the game at the Contest Stand without entering the Contest and without giving any personal details, and no visitor will be required or pressed to provide details in order to play. A visitor who does not provide a name and email address will not have their lap time recorded for the purposes of the Contest and will not be eligible for a prize. Providing a name and a valid email address is, however, a condition of entry to the Contest, because the email address is the only means by which the PROMOTER will contact the winner of a race.
The email address given must be an address that the Entrant controls and is able to access. Where an Entrant gives an address that is invalid, incomplete or incorrectly entered, the PROMOTER will be unable to notify them and their entry may be treated as void in accordance with section 6. It is the Entrant’s responsibility to ensure the address is recorded correctly and to monitor it, including junk and spam folders, after the Event. Personal data given on entry is handled in accordance with section 11 below.
Each full timed lap completed in accordance with the above is classified as one (1) entry in the race during which it was set. Entrants may take part in more than one Event during the Contest Period, and in more than one race within an Event where places are available, and, where an Entrant records more than one valid lap time in the same race, only their fastest valid lap time in that race will be counted, however Entrants will only ever be entitled to one (1) win/prize. Entrants are eligible to receive a maximum of one (1) prize across the Contest as a whole, and an Entrant who has won a race may continue to play in later races and Events but will not be eligible to win a further prize.
In addition to any other requirements set forth in these Rules, in order to be deemed eligible for participation, where applicable, each entry and/or the Entrant submitting it must meet the following conditions and restrictions, and for these purposes references to an “entry” include the name given by the Entrant and any other content submitted by the Entrant in connection with their lap time:
- The entry must not disparage any person or entity, defame or invade the publicity or privacy rights of any person, living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon any person’s personal or proprietary rights or constitute or suggest copyright infringement.
- The entry must not contain any content that is sexually explicit, offensive, illegal, pornographic, or obscene or that features, promotes, or suggests the use or abuse of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, firearms, or other harmful substances or otherwise is in bad taste or is otherwise objectionable to the PROMOTER, determined by the PROMOTER in its sole discretion.
- The entry or entrant must not depict material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age.
- The entry must not depict material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations in any jurisdiction where entry is created.
The PROMOTER in its sole discretion shall determine if any entry or part thereof is inappropriate for any reason for public release or publication and shall have the right to disqualify any entry that it deems to not meet the criteria above, or due to technical, legal (including intellectual property rights infringement), clearance or other problems, or otherwise in breach of the above Rules, as determined by the PROMOTER in its sole discretion.
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win this contest. No purchase made by an Entrant (e.g. one of the PROMOTER’s products) will increase an Entrant’s chances of winning. The Contest is determined by skill and not by chance. The number of entries received in a race may affect the lap time needed to win that race, but the outcome is determined solely by the lap times recorded by Entrants.
6. WINNER(S)
There will be up to twenty (20) winners in total, being one (1) winner for each of the twenty (20) Events. The winner of a race is the Entrant who has recorded the fastest valid lap time in that Event as at the time that Event closes. Winners are determined by reference to recorded lap time alone. No element of chance is involved in the selection of the winners, and the winners are not selected at random. Winners are only entitled to one (1) win, and one (1) prize.
A lap time will only be treated as valid where the lap was completed in full, at the Contest Stand, on a play station supervised by the PROMOTER’s stand team, during the Event in question, by an eligible Entrant who has given a name and a valid email address in accordance with section 5, and without the use of any bug, exploit, glitch, unauthorised controller or other input device, modification of the game build, or assistance from any other person. The PROMOTER may in its sole discretion void any lap time that it reasonably believes was not set in accordance with these Rules, and the PROMOTER’s decision as to the validity of a lap time is final.
Where two or more Entrants record identical valid lap times as the fastest lap time in the same Event, the Entrant who set that lap time earlier in that Event will be the winner of that Event.
Information pertaining to the method by which lap times are recorded, verified and ranked can be provided for up to thirty (30) days following the conclusion of the Contest Period on written request to the PROMOTER’s details listed above.
On or within three (3) business days of the close of the Contest Period, the winner of each Event will be notified by the PROMOTER’s community team by email, sent to the email address given by that Entrant on entry.
If a potential winner does not respond to the notification attempt within forty-eight (48) hours from the notification attempt, then such potential winner will be disqualified and the Entrant who recorded the next fastest valid lap time in the same Event will be selected as an alternate potential winner. Each potential winner may be required to sign and return a “Declaration of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release” and provide any additional information, such as that referenced in section 9 below, that may be required by the PROMOTER.
Potential winners must return all such required information within five (5) days following attempted notification or such potential winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize and the Entrant who recorded the next fastest valid lap time in the same Event may be selected as an alternate potential winner.
In order to receive a prize, each winner will need to give the PROMOTER a postal address for delivery and to confirm their choice of platform under section 7. The PROMOTER will use those details only for the purpose of arranging delivery of the prize, in accordance with section 11 below.
The Promoter reserves the right to modify the notification procedures in connection with the selection of any alternate potential winners, if any. In the event of a dispute about the identity of an Entrant, each entry will be declared as made by the authorised holder of the email address given on entry. With respect to each winning entry, the winner may be required to provide proof that they are the authorised holder of the email address associated with the winning entry, photographic proof of their identity and age, and evidence that they are otherwise eligible to enter the Contest.
All notification requirements, as well as other requirements within these Rules, will be strictly enforced. Determinations of the PROMOTER are final and binding.
7. PRIZE(S)
Twenty (20) prizes are available in total, being one (1) prize for each Event: one (1) physical, boxed copy of STAR WARS: Galactic Racer Deluxe Edition for either PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S, at the winner’s election. Prizes are not available for PC or for any other platform or format, and no digital download code or cash alternative will be offered. Each winner must confirm their chosen platform when responding to the notification under section 6 and, where a winner does not do so within the period set out in that section, the PROMOTER may supply either version at its discretion. Notwithstanding the foregoing, for any Winner that is domiciled in Russia, Ukraine, or outside of the Europe and/or outside of the United States of America, the prize shall be substituted to be a digital copy of the STAR WARS: Galactic Racer Deluxe Edition.
The total Approximate Retail Value of this prize is £64.99 for each winner. The actual market value may vary based on item brands and be subject to market fluctuations; any difference between actual market value and Approximate Retail Value will not be awarded.
No transfer, substitution, or cash equivalent for prizes is allowed, except at the PROMOTER’s sole discretion. The PROMOTER reserves the right to substitute a prize, in whole or in part, of equal or greater monetary value if a prize cannot be awarded, in whole or in part, as described for any reason. The Contest Entities have not made and are not making, and the Contest Entities are not responsible in any manner for, any warranties, representations, or guarantees, express or implied, in fact or law, relating to the prize, or regarding the use, value or enjoyment of the prize, including, without limitation, its quality, mechanical condition, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose, with the exception of any standard manufacturer’s warranty that may apply to the prize or any components thereto.
In the event that no entries are received in an Event, no prize will be awarded for that Event. Subject to the above provisions regarding prize substitutions, where there is at least one (1) entry in an Event in compliance with these Rules, the prize for that Event will be awarded.
The PROMOTER is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any Entrant by any third party connected with this Contest. The PROMOTER will not replace any lost or stolen prizes once in winner’s possession.
8. TAXES
RECEIPT OF PRIZES TO POTENTIAL WINNERS/WINNERS ARE SUBJECT TO THE EXPRESS REQUIREMENT THAT THEY SUBMIT TO THE PROMOTER ALL DOCUMENTATION REQUESTED BY THE PROMOTER TO PERMIT IT TO COMPLY WITH ALL APPLICABLE TAX REPORTING AND WITHHOLDING REQUIREMENTS. ALL PRIZES WILL BE NET OF ANY TAXES THE PROMOTER IS REQUIRED BY LAW TO WITHHOLD. ALL TAXES IMPOSED ON PRIZES ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNERS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER TAXES HAVE BEEN SO WITHHELD.
To receive a prize, potential winners may be required to submit the tax documentation requested by the PROMOTER or otherwise required by applicable law, to the PROMOTER or the relevant tax authority, all as determined by applicable law, including, where relevant, the law of the potential winner’s country of residence. The potential winners are responsible for ensuring that they comply with all the applicable tax laws and filing requirements. If a potential winner fails to provide such documentation or comply with such laws, the prize may be forfeited and the PROMOTER may, in its sole discretion, select an alternative potential winner in accordance with these Rules.
9. GENERAL CONDITIONS
All local laws and regulations apply. The PROMOTER reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant from the Contest if, in the PROMOTER’s sole discretion, it believes that the Entrant has attempted to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest by cheating, deception, or other unfair playing practices or annoys, abuses, threatens or harasses any other Entrants, viewers, the PROMOTER, the Contest Entities or judges.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. In the event that any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. PROMOTER’S failure to (or decision not to) enforce any provision in these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other provision.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Entering the Contest does not create or confer any license, right or ownership interest under any copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property laws in or to any intellectual property owned, licensed to and/or controlled by the PROMOTER.
11. PRIVACY
Entrant acknowledges and agrees that the PROMOTER may collect, store, share and otherwise use any personally identifiable information provided to the PROMOTER throughout the Contest, being the name and email address given by the Entrant on entry and, in the case of winners only, the postal delivery address and platform preference needed to fulfil the prize. The PROMOTER will use this information in accordance with its Privacy Policy located at https://wearesecretmode.com/privacy-policy, for the purposes of administering the Contest, determining and verifying the winner of each Event, and arranging delivery of the prizes. The PROMOTER’s legal basis for that processing is the performance of the agreement between the Entrant and the PROMOTER constituted by these Rules. The PROMOTER will not use the details given on entry for marketing purposes and will not add Entrants to any marketing list. The email address given on entry will be used only to contact the winner of each Event and to obtain the postal delivery address and other delivery details needed to send the prize, and those delivery details will be shared with the courier for the purpose of delivering the prize only. PROMOTER may need to share Contest winners’ personally identifiable information with suppliers for the purpose of ordering and shipping prizes directly to winners.
Giving personal data is voluntary, as set out in section 5. A visitor may play the game at the Contest Stand without giving any personal data, in which case no personal data about them will be recorded, and they will not be eligible to win a prize. The PROMOTER collects only the name and email address needed to run the Contest and to contact the winner of each Event, and collects a postal address only from winners and only for the purpose of delivering the prize.
The PROMOTER will retain the name and email address of Entrants who do not win for no longer than thirty (30) days after the end of the Contest Period, after which those details will be securely deleted. The personal data of winners will be retained for as long as is necessary to deliver the prize and to respond to requests under section 20 below, and thereafter only for so long as the PROMOTER is required to retain it to comply with its legal, accounting and tax obligations.
Where the PROMOTER uses a third party to operate the leaderboard at the Contest Stand or to fulfil and ship the prizes, that third party acts as the PROMOTER’s processor under a written contract that requires it to process the personal data only on the PROMOTER’s instructions and to keep it secure.
Entrants have the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of their personal data held by the PROMOTER in connection with the Contest, to request the restriction of or to object to its processing, and to request that it be provided to them or to a third party in a portable form. Requests may be made by writing to the PROMOTER at the registered office address given above, marked for the attention of the Data Protection Lead, or by using the contact details in the Privacy Policy. Because the PROMOTER cannot administer the Contest or award a prize without an Entrant’s name and email address, a request for erasure made before the end of the Event entered will be treated as a withdrawal from the Contest. Entrants also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office in the United Kingdom or with the supervisory authority in the country in which they live or work.
12. PUBLICITY
By accepting a prize, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in these Terms, Entrant agrees to the PROMOTER and its agencies use of his or her name and/or likeness, contents of entry (where applicable) for advertising and promotional purposes of the Contest without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. Entrants may be asked to complete a publicity release.
13. WARRANTY AND INDEMNITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, each Entrant:
- represents and warrants that they are aged 18 or over at the time of entry and at the time any prize is claimed, and agrees to provide photographic proof of identity and age if the PROMOTER requests it;
- indemnifies and agrees to keep indemnified the PROMOTER at all times from and against any liability, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs and expenses resulting from any act, default or omission of the Entrant and/or a breach of any representation or warranty set forth herein;
- agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the PROMOTER and the Contest Entities from and against any and all claims, actions, suits or proceedings, as well as any and all injuries, losses, liabilities, damages of any kind to persons or property, including death, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or accruing in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from entrant’s participation in the Contest or any Contest-related activity or (a) any misrepresentation made by the Entrant in connection with the Contest; (b) any non-compliance by the Entrant with these Rules; (c) claims brought by persons or entities other than the parties to these Rules arising from or related to the Entrant’s involvement with the Contest; (d) acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in any Contest-related activity or participation in this Contest; (e) any malfunction or other problem with the Contest Site(s); (f) any error in the collection, processing or retention of entry information; or (g) any typographical or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any prize or winners;
- agrees to release, indemnify and hold harmless Disney Interactive, Lucasfilm and their respective parent, affiliated, and subsidiary companies and its and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, actions, suits or proceedings, as well as any and all injuries, losses, liabilities, damages of any kind to persons or property, including death, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or accruing in whole or in part in connection with these Rules and this Contest.
14. ELIMINATION
Any false or incorrect information provided within the context of the Contest by any Entrant concerning identity, age, mailing address, telephone number, email address, ownership of right, or non-compliance with these Rules, or the like, may result in the immediate elimination of the Entrant from the Contest.
15. INTERNET AND OTHER TECHNICAL ISSUES
The PROMOTER and the Contest Entities are not responsible for any malfunction or for any late, lost, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, undeliverable or destroyed entries due to system errors, failed, incomplete or garbled computer or other telecommunication transmission malfunctions, hardware or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, typographical or system/human errors and failures, technical malfunction(s) of any telephone network or lines, cable connections, satellite transmissions, servers or providers, or computer equipment, traffic congestion on the Internet or at the Contest Site(s), or any combination thereof, including other telecommunication, cable, digital or satellite malfunctions which may limit an Entrant’s ability to participate.
16. RIGHT TO CANCEL, MODIFY OR DISQUALIFY
If for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as the PROMOTER intended, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Contest, the PROMOTER reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest and if terminated, the PROMOTER may elect to determine the potential winners for the Contest from among all eligible Entrants received prior to the action taken, using the valid lap times recorded before that action was taken. The PROMOTER further reserves the right to disqualify any Entrant who violates these Rules or tampers with the submission process or any other part of the Contest or Contest Site(s). Any attempt by an Entrant to deliberately damage any website, including the Contest Site(s), or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the PROMOTER reserves the right to seek any and all remedies available from any such Entrant to the fullest extent of the applicable law.
The PROMOTER reserves the right to cancel or amend the Contest and these Rules without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the PROMOTER’S control or where it becomes necessary to do so. Any changes to the Contest will be notified to Entrants as soon as possible by the PROMOTER.
17. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The PROMOTER and the Contest Entities are not responsible for: (a) lost, late, damaged, destroyed, delayed, stolen, misdirected, incomplete, or illegible, garbled entries, all of which will be disqualified; (b) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any telephone, computer online systems, computer equipment, website, server provider, network, hardware, or software; (c) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any website or service; (d) unauthorized intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; or (e) printing, typographical, electronic, or human errors which may occur in the offer or administration of the Contest or the processing of entries. Entrants agree that any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Contest (but not the development of the entry) but in no event legal representatives’ fees; and Entrants waive all rights to claim any punitive, incidental, consequential, and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
18. JURISDICTION AND GOVERNING LAW
To the extent permitted by law, the laws of Germany apply to these Rules, although if you are resident elsewhere you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the laws of that country. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Germany. THESE RULES APPLY SOLELY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
19. LIST OF WINNERS
You may request a list of winners, comprising the first name and the first initial of the surname of each winner only, for up to thirty (30) days following the conclusion of the Contest Period on written request to the PROMOTER’s registered office marked for the attention of the Marketing Department.
